Gaga's gone gaga for Outlandish Creations
Pop diva Lady Gaga has been causing quite a stir recently after releasing a photo of her on her Twitter page, seemingly topless, and seductively clutching a tea cup with the word 'whore' emblazoned on it.
The outlandish creation was given to Lady Gaga by Coco de Mer and is the work of UK based designer Katie Roberton, of Outlandish Creations.
Roberton works with ceramics to creative risqué pieces which are now taking the world by storm. Other creations include a chandelier inspired by love beads, salt and pepper 'cockshakers' and a porcelain riding crop.
The designer is now in talks with Gaga's agent over a possible collection for the famous tea drinker. Gaga has made no secret of her unusually mainstream choice of beverage, having posted several pictures of herself clasping various different cups and saucers, and Roberton is now keen to create a bespoke set of tea cups specifically for her.
Roberton states '"I enjoy making work that is beautifully crafted, delicate, luxurious, feminine and provocative. I have been making dainty but saucy tea cups for a number of years, it is only recently that there has been a resurgence in the cup cake culture that makes tea such a divine part of being British. I design and make all my products in Britain which I believe is vital in today's society.'
